![]() I think I had to get Microsoft on the line. In MSP, go to File->Options->Save Check Auto save every <10> minutes (The minutes can be adjusted to save more frequently). I know I did this once years ago for a PM and it was painful. If you are running Project on a Project server environment, depending on your admins backup strategy, they may be able to recover your file from cached data. Make sure you are looking at your OneDrive folders as well, they typically have to be searched separately. If it is not in those places, can go to file manager and search using whatever combination of file name and wild cards you can to locate it. The next thing you should do is look at the "File" Tab -> "Options" menu, then the "Save" menu - look at your "Default File Location" directory and look there. ![]() And your title conflicts with your description, did you save it or not? I wont go into the plan versus schedule issue as you are probably aggravated at this time.ĭepending on your version of Project, you should be able to select the "File" Tab, ->"Open" menu item down the left side, then look on the right side of the page at the recently opened/modified files. ![]()
